Fragments of Silence

Some thoughts are too quiet to become words.

They exist as fragments – unfinished, fleeting, and somewhere between memory and intuition. This three-part series of works captures precisely this moment. Each wooden body possesses its own expressive power, but only in their interplay does the complete harmony of the composition unfold.

Luminous neon pigments meet calm gray tones, deep black gently transitions into bright surfaces, while fine lines connect the individual elements – like traces of invisible conversations.

Due to the extraordinary depth of the wooden bodies, not only paintings but object-like works of art are created. All sides have been hand-painted, so that the composition extends beyond the front surface into the room, opening up new perspectives from every angle.

Instead of dictating a story, Fragments of Silence opens up space for one's own thoughts and interpretations. The three works can be arranged together as a coherent series or individually, always creating new dialogues between form, color and silence.

This mixed media series, created in 2024, harmoniously combines opposites: energy and tranquility, movement and stillness, structure and intuition. Each work is a hand-painted original and bears the unmistakable visual language of Huanita Vidicek.
